yesterday morning trevor & i woke up at 5:00 am & went to inspiration peak

before work to do a sun salutation with the sunrise.

i'm really going to miss the farm.

today was my last day at my internship.

i already miss my ploughpals.

5 things i'll really miss:

1. waking up to trevor's music and then smelling fresh coffee when i walk into the kitchen.

2. game time. smashball. puzzles.

3. playing in the dirt.

 

4. putting wild flowers in my hair & making dandelion jewelry. 

5. taking little breaks during work watch the trees sway & the sky change.

perfect weather: we escaped from the farm & went to the lake.

on saturday i hand weeded beets for six hours by myself while my friends (& co-workers) got to enjoy their day off. 

after i was done working i thought we all could use something refreshing so invited everyone to my lake house for the remainder of the weekend.

today trevor, maddie & i went into town to drop off my film, but

1-hour photo failed once again & i'll have to wait another day until i can pick up the pictures.

i'm too excited to see how the holgas turned out so i thought i'd post a couple from my digital while i wait IMPATIENTLY for 6:00 pm tomorrow.

hello, mr. dino-dragon.

i had work off on friday

so i took a trip to visit my best friends, wesli & greta.

nothing is better than catching up on us weekly,

feeling sorry for mischa barton,

and then feeling motivated to having a 'poor mischa' inspired photo shoot

(i have no idea where greta's 3D-dragon from art class tied into this all...).

i might have to add:

when it has been 3 weeks since we last saw each other...

we get a little goofy.

but i'm sad that i was away working

and the drive to see you was just too long

although i couldn't be there

all of the interns out harvesting in the field.

not sure how that worked out, but i can tell you that the weather helped set the mood...

two of the interns quit today and will be leaving as soon as they are done packing up their rooms.

my sisters 23rd birthday is coming up and i have been trying to paint her the perfect present,

but i've started over so many times that i'm scared that i am going to run out of time.

with 9 days to go, i thought i would start over one more time before i just gave up and bought her something instead.

thankfully, i think i'm finally on to something--too bad i have to go back to work tomorrow.

i might just be painting all night. 

if this last attempt fails...

a shirt that i ordered came in the mail today.

i was so excited when i saw the present man walking to my door, but

after tearing open the box i was left extremely disappointed.

the shirt looks nothing like i had imagined.

 sadly, i'll have to return it next time i'm in minneapolis.

the dentist was a success.

my teeth feel so smooth & clean.

although i had a hard time deciding whether or not i should drink my coffee this morning, 

it didn't take long until I gave into my addiction.

mmm.
