dear sister,

i feel like i missed your birthday (again) this year

& as i start to think of it my left eye is forming a little tear

i may have called you yesterday

& sang you a little song

but i'm sad that i was away working

and the drive to see you was just too long

although i couldn't be there

i just want you to know

that you are the best sister

& i love & miss you so
