yesterday, we took a trip to pomaire (a little artesian village known for its art & pottery).
i bought a vase {for only 1.ooo or US$2!!} that is similar to the ones above on the left, in the colors of the yellow one second from the far right.
& then i saw the tall red ones above and HAD to buy that one too!
we stopped for lunch at a restaurant known for its empanadas & parrilladas.
i could not believe how much meat we were served! it was sooooo tasty!
after lunch we spent a couple hours playing with the clay that is used to make the pottery.
when we were done playing with clay we washed up & wesli & i took all the girls back to a little tienda where we had bought flower ponytail holders. i'm pretty sure that each of the girls went home with at least one. they were so darn cute!
i found this piece of art made of copper and could not leave pomaire without it.
after a month of searching i finally found my chilean art work & cannot wait to put it up in my home when i return.
