saturday, 10/17 our bus left vina at 8 pm for a loooong overnight trip to southern chile.
we arrived in puerto montt on sunday morning at 11 am and stopped for some shopping at the artesanias and lunch before we made the trip to chiloe by ferry.

in chiloe we stayed at an agrotourism farm.
when we arrived i searched the property for a plot of veggies with a friend with the hope of getting some dirt on my hands, but we were left veggieless. after a little walk we returned to our resting site and were surprised to find a home cooked traditional chilean meal of curanto (meat, shellfish, potatoes and balls of dough that was cooked in the ground).
